Meet the Counselor - Ms. Bocage

Hello! I'm Mary Bocage, the School Counselor at Cypress Grove Montessori Academy, and I'm excited to return for the 2026-2027 school year. With over 10 years of experience in education, I am dedicated to supporting academic, social/emotional, and personal growth of every student. I look forward to partnering with our students, families, and staff to make this a successful year at CGMA!

As you school counselor, my mission is to encourage, support, and empower all students to reach their fullest potential. Through a comprehensive school counseling program, I help students develop academically, socially, emotionally, and in their career awareness so they can become confident, capable learners and leaders.

Throughout the year, I provide individual counseling, small group counseling, and classroom guidance lessons designed to meet the diverse needs of our students. I also collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success and help organize school-wide activities that strengthen our CGMA community.

Students can feel comfortable talking with me, knowing that confidentiality is respected. The only exceptions are when there is a concern that a student may harm themselves or others, or if there is suspected abuse or neglect, in which case I am required to ensure their safety.
